Music such as a universal language
Many people agree with this because they think about music how a way to enjoy. According to the definition, music is an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color. Nevertheless, the word most important of this definition is “emotions “. Perhaps, that is the reason, music is universal because arouses emotion, and evokes sentiments.

  1. Hi Jamie,

Thanks for all of those great links! It's great to share a little more about the history of each song. Popular blues songs have been recorded over and over again by different artists, and it's cool to hear how each musician does it differently. I think you're right that emotion is the key to music's being a universal language. Thanks for a great post!
